Setup steps (generic)

Exact menus vary, but most tools follow the same pattern.

  1. Open your blocker’s “Blocklists” section

    Look for DNS blocklists, adlists, filters, or “custom lists.”

  2. Add the subscription URL

    Use: https://familyads.ignorelist.com/lists/familyads-hosts.txt (or your hosted equivalent).

  3. Update / refresh lists

    Your blocker will download the file and start applying it.

  4. Test and adjust

    If a site breaks, allowlist the affected domain or disable the list temporarily while you diagnose.

Preview the format

The file is plain text. Lines beginning with # are comments.

Safety note
